On January 6th, 1955, August FLATFOOT was beaten to death by Robert Alfred BRADLEY. BRADLEY (34) was single and unemployed.
The trial took place October 31st - November 2nd, 1955 in the Court of Queen's Bench with Judge E.K. Williams residing. There was a recommendation by the Judge for mercy but the jury did not accept that recommendation.
BRADLEY was found guilty and sentenced to hang on January 19th, 1956. On July 5th, 1956 BRADLEY's sentence was commuted to life imprisonment at the Stoney Mountain Penitentiary.
