In 1969 there was a dramatic increase in
the number of homicides in Winnipeg with a total of 14 incidents
reported. That is up from the previous two years where six in 1967 and
nine in 1968 were reported.
Of the 13 murder incidents 14 males were charged, 3 females and 3 male youths.
