For 2000, Statistics Canada reported 30 homicide victims for the province of Manitoba with 17 of those homicides occurring in Winnipeg. In the Winnipeg table below I have identified 17 Confirmed and 1 Unsolved. In the Manitoba table I've identified 12 Confirmed, 8 Unsolved, 5 Disappearances/Missing, 1 Unidentified Victim. (TOTAL 44).Some of the unsolved and disappearance cases may have been resolved but not reported to media. According to RCMP, she may have travelled to Vancouver, British Columbia to work in the sex trade, but no one has heard from her in more than 14 years.
