For 2001, Statistics Canada reported 34
homicide victims for the
province of Manitoba with 19 of those homicides occurring in
Winnipeg.
In the Winnipeg table below I have identified 15 Confirmed and 5
Unsolved. In the Manitoba table I've identified 12
Confirmed, 5 Unsolved, 1 Death by Winnipeg Police, 2 Hunting Deaths, 3
vehicle involved deaths (2 drunk driving) resulting in two criminal
negligence charges and one conditional sentence. (TOTAL 43).
Some of the unsolved and disappearance cases may have been resolved but
