Charge - 2nd Degree Murder
On October 13th, at approximately 7:00pm, there was a report of an assault. The police arrived at the 600 block of Simcoe Street and discovered a 57 year old male with stab wounds to his lower body. The man was transported to the hospital but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries.
An investigation lead to the arrest of, 41 year old, Charles Harold Gamblin, of no fixed address. He has been charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
The police report on October 13th, stated that the police did not know the identity of the victim.
