Charge - 1st Degree Murder
On April 30th, 2006 at 2:35 a.m., twenty-four year old Minh Hong HUYNH was fatally stabbed in the upper body in front of 441 Main Street.
On May 3rd, 2006, Glen Sherman Monkman (35) was charged with 2nd Degree Murder in connection with the homicide. Monkman's charges have since been upgraded to 1st Degree Murder.
Continued investigation led to the arrest of twenty-eight year old Norris Ponce (28) and twenty-seven year old Carlos Tavares (27) were arrested on May 28th, 2007. Both males have been charged with 1st Degree Murder in connection with the homicide.
