On Friday, March 9th, 2007, shortly after 11:30 p.m., Greg Skead became involved in an altercation in the area of Furby Street and Sara Avenue with Preston Lee Tran. During this altercation Skead received stab wounds to his upper body and succumbed to his injuries.
Tran was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
