On May 26th, 2007, shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the area of Sutton Avenue and Rothesay Street many people exited a residence from a party. A male (19) was confronted by a male (16) and the two got into an an argument. This argument escalated to the point where the victim sustained a stab wound to his upper body and succumbed to his injuries.
The investigation led to the arrest of a 16 year old male who has now been charged with 2nd degree murder.
