Statistics Canada Data: Winnipeg = 31 Manitoba = 54 (includes Winnipeg)
For 2008, Statistics Canada reported 54 homicide victims for the province of Manitoba with 31 of those homicides occurring in Winnipeg. In the Winnipeg table below I have identified 29 Cases (6 Unsolved). In the Manitoba table I've identified xx (in progress). Some of the unsolved and disappearance cases may have been resolved but not reported to media. Project Devote is investigating the missing persons case.
