Charge - 2nd Degree Murder
It was around 1:00pm, the early afternoon of May 23rd, 2009, when 23-year-old Joseph McLeod was confronted by two young boys, in the back lane, along the 400 block of Ross Avenue, near Isabel Street.
The two boys, strangers to the victim, and each just 14-years-old, simply exchanged words with McLeod before stabbing him to death.
There may have been a witness to the assault, as a surveillance camera photographed a light coloured van in the area. The van may have been a Pontiac Transport or Chevrolet Lumina.
The two youths were arrested the same day and both charged with 2nd Degree Murder.
